Monetary donations are always greatly needed and appreciated. CLAWS relies solely on public donations and small adoption fees. We are a private shelter and do not get state funding. Your donations will be used to cover veterinary care and other expenses necessary to keep the shelter open.
CLAWS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible.
Sponsor A Cat
For just $10 a month, sponsor one of our adorable shelter kitties still waiting for a forever home. We'll add you to our newsletter distribution list and mail you a thank you card featuring a photo and bio of the cat you've helped. You may sponsor for as many months as you wish.
If you sponsor around a holiday, CLAWS can instead mail a special card to a loved one showing that you've made a donation in their name. Available holiday card sponsorships include:

Donate Your Time
CLAWS relies on our volunteers to keep the shelter running. If you can volunteer your time around our shelter or events, please download an application.
Applications must be completed in full, then mailed to CLAWS or dropped off at the shelter between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily.
PAID SHELTER STAFF WANTED: CLAWS is also currently looking for up to two hard-working paid shelter staff members. Responsibilities include cleaning cages/litterboxes, laundry, feeding, and properly caring for our cats and kittens. Excellent references a must.
